Here's a handy little nailer at a great price. Palm nailers have their fans, and if you're one of them, you'll like this model. Its 2.5 pounds are well-balanced and made even easier to handle because of the soft rubber palm pad and nice leather grip. One downside of palm nailers is the need to feed each nail individually, but the A20 features a magnetic nail guide that speeds up your driving. Used it to spike 4x4s together for building a raised garden for my wife. Had to predrill holes for the 6" ring shank spikes I was using, but I was expecting that. Didn't bend one like when driving ring shanks with a hammer, it worked flawlessly and fast. I have used tools like it in a previous life as a carpenter (30+ Years) and these things also shine when nailing on joist hangers and such, especially in tight quarters.

Bought it to help build a pole barn driving 6" 80D ring shank nails. Worked great! The best part to me was the fact I could drive them with either hand, something I can NOT do with a hammer. The only reason I didn't give a full five stars is the leather hand strap. It's too small for even small hands and after about a half hours use I removed it.Just a side tip; these need a drop of oil now and then. I eventually installed an air line oiler like this one (http://www.amazon.com/Air-Lubricator-1700-Pneumatic-Preperation/dp/B007ERCH3K/ref=sr_1_14?ie=UTF8&qid=1411247224&sr=8-14&keywords=air+line+oiler) and set it for the minimum oil and it worked perfectly. Amazon really should add that to the list of suggested accessories.

This palm nailer is so great. The magnet inside is wonderful and it really gets after it. Too powerful for a pancake air compressor we had to bust out the big one but it’s great! We have another one from a different brand and it spits grease. Not this Senco, a little at the beginning, then just went to work.

How did I ever do without this nailer? Strong - sinks nails with almost no effort, the magnetic hold is great for locating the nail easily. The leather strap is best used as a template to make a more study strap of your own - the leather is paper thin. It should come with a swivel joint quick disconnect - I added my own.

Wont really drive a 60D sprial nail through oak and also dosent come with the proper end to even drive a nail that size.Works well for any other softer woods with out predrilling

I bought this palm nailer for some close quarter nailing I had to do. I am a full time carpenter for the last 25 years. I went with Senco because that the brand that I have found the most reliable. I was not disappointed with my purchase. I had to nail a sleeper under an existing roof, the space was too small for a standard framer. I got the Senco just for this application. I did an awesome job and it was easy to toe nail the rafters to the sleeper with this nailer also. I am glad I have it now, I am sure I will use it for many more uses. It was a breeze with the few joist hangers I had to nail off also. If you think you might need one just get it, its only $70.

Works great! Drives 4 and 5" spiral nails with ease, just watch for knots. It will bend the nails.Very happy with this palm nailer
