We recommend Togglers or WingIt brand mounting kits when wood or metal studs are not available. Grab Bars can only be as strong as what they are mounted to. This was the third grab bar I had ordered, the first two arrived fine and the quality was very good. This order was shipped US Postal Service and after approximately 2 weeks it appears to be lost. Shipping anything of value USPS is, in my opinion, a mistake The product is fine but UPS would have been a wiser choice, even if slightly more expensive,Revised 10/6/23, The vendor shipped a replacement that arrived UPS in two days. The USPS shipment remains lost. The product is great and so is the follow-up service.
