Was looking for some new shorts and thought I would take a chance on these. Glad I did. From reading other reviews, I ordered 1 size smaller than I would normally wear. They came quickly, and when I tried them on they fit perfectly. I like the style, the quality is very good and the fit (ordering one size smaller) is perfect for me. I like them so much I ordered 3 more pairs in different colors. If there where any improvements that I could think of for these shorts would be that the front pockets are a little shallow for my preference (you can put your mobile phone in fine, but would like a little deeper to make it feel safer). As mentioned in other reviews, it would be nice if the draw sting was a couple of inches longer. It still does the job, but a little longer would make for easier tying.

Love these shorts. Like all other Rothco shorts I have bought they do run big. With these be careful ordering a size smaller than normal as they are almost a size off. I originally ordered an xl and they actually were a tad too small. I normally wear XXL in everything I buy. my normal size is 42". These were not as over sized as other shorts I have gotten in other colors from this same brand. A few hot water washes and a belt keep these shorts usable. These shorts are strong and well made. I have a few colors of this style and love them all.

I had been looking high and low for "digital camo" shorts, and these had been on my radar for some time now. I hesitated to order them after seeing on the fit problems. I wear a perfect 36 waist and decided to try a "medium". It was a tiny bit snug, but has since loosened up a bit and is perfect. I don't know if the military actually wears shorts, but I guess I had expected to see a mil spec label or something to indicated these were the real thing. There's nothing to indicate that with these shorts. These appear to be shorts that you could buy at any men's apparel store with the exception of the print. By contrast, my digital camo boonie hat (purchased here on Amazon) contains a mil spec label, and is the real thing. But, if you're looking for digital camo print, this is it. I wore them on vacation where tens of thousands of people congregate, and can can tell you without a doubt I had the only digital camo shorts there. As other have said, the front pockets are shallow. Change will easily fall out if you're seated, so I used the large leg pockets instead. The other problem I had is the zipper seemed to unzip over time. Several times, I noticed that I was at full or half staff. There appears to be no lock on the zipper to keep it from drifting open. The leg holes are a bit wider than what I'm accustomed to. Other than that, these shorts appear to be nicely made with adjustable lanyards for the waist and bottoms of the leg holes. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase another pair now knowing what I do.

I bought 3 pairs of these shorts 3 years ago for my growing son. Keeping up with him growing was putting me in the poor house...lol...until I found these. He has worn them for 3 years and he is just now growing out of them. I bought the vintage camo, olive and black.The size ranges between multiple sizes and has an interior drawstring around the waist so can be adjusted around the waist accordingly. The price is somewhat high but worth every penny especially when you add up the price for how much it would've cost for 3 years worth of shorts.They are very durable and made extremely well. 3 years later and they still look the same as the day I bought them. Now I'm back for more for my growing boy. :)Would def recommend for parents of growing boys. My son had no complaints about the style...he loves them and is comfortable. Win-Win!

I normally wear a 40 waist jean, and that usually translates to XXL. The XXL size on these shorts is a 43-47 waist. I exchanged them for an XL that was supposedly 39-42. The waist is not able to cinch up. the shorts were still 5 inches too long in the waist. The material seemed to be really good, but the sizing is horrible unless you fit the higher measurement of each size.

Downsides first ... You should know that these shorts do run big (2x fits a 44 waist), and they do have zipper issues as other reviewers have mentioned. Specifically the zipper doesn't always go up easily or completely closing the front door. I have two pair of these shorts and neither zipper works without more tugging and fiddiling around than should be required (caution - you may get funny looks in the mens room! ;)On the upside, they are very heavy cotton and very tough. I use them working in the yard/garden and I appreciate the thickness of the material, and that they cover my knees. I like the digital pattern because it hides the sweat and dirt so I can run out to the store without changing and I don't look like a complete dirtball.Even though I rated them a (3), I recommend these shorts for hard outdoor work and camping. I wish the zipper worked better, but it works.

If you are looking for authentic military shorts, you are in luck! I love these shorts they are very heavy duty shorts, great build quality, nice pockets and surprisingly aren't very heavy. They have a second button on the inside and adjustable straps on the waist. The Digital Camo looks so nice and they have a little bit of a "worn" look to them. The shorts also come with a cool little dog tag on the belt strap part on the waist. But be very aware the shorts come in very big sizes! I ordered a large thinking that it would fit and they were giant on me I am a 34 waist and about 5' 9. So I got a medium instead and they fit perfectly. A large would be a 35-39 waist.

生地や作りがしっかりしていて長く愛用出来ると思います。ちょっと残念なのはポケットの作りが頑丈で重たくなってしまう事、せっかくのハーフパンツだから軽やかにしたいのです

身長１８３㎝、体重１３０㎏ですが、ゆったりとはけます。このサイズのパンツは滅多にありません。
