Works great for minimal rain, but get a steady rain or a downpour, and the design just can't keep up. The cups will overflow due to the small holes in the bottom of the pails. Very cute design.

Built well. Sturdy and heavy. Nice black matte finish. Simple. Clean. The pails are much bigger than expected though. They’ve got to be at as big as a 8-10 oz cup.
