Remove hose clamps so much easier, worth every penny. The quality and durability isn’t the greatest but worth the money for DYI. I’ve used it 3 times already saving me so much time. If it breaks I’ll buy a new one. The design is genius

This is a VERY handy tool, especially in a pinch. I was able to remove very hard to reach hose clamps that I couldn't reach with regular or channel lock type pliers. This takes a minute to get used to on how to fit it on the clamp pins, but it sure did save me time and money. This saved me a $200 mechanic bill.

These are handy too have around the shop for occasional use. It saves me a lot of time, frustration and random, colorful words usually associated with trying to remove or reinstall hose clamps. The quality is OK for use every once in a while. It would not be a good choice for a professional mechanic as the sturdiness is questionable. But it was inexpensive and served it's purpose for the job I had to do.

Had to replace the oil cooler on my truck and was having a nightmare of a time reattaching the cooling hose, which was down in a barely accessible valley. After struggling for a long time, I ordered this tool after seeing it mentioned in a Youtube video. Very easy to use and I had the hose attached in less than a minute. Not a super heavy duty tool, but for something I hope to only need infrequently, it's solid enough.

I love these things. Easy to use and fits tight spaces that you can’t get flyers or your hand.

These should be called heater hose clamp pliers. They do not open up far enough for radiator clamps. The photo shows a radiator clamp for a 2015 wrangler.

Getting older now and willing to spend a little to make home auto repairs go a little quicker and easier. Honestly, this type tool is a definite for my 2004 Mercury Mountaineer. I don't know how I would have gotten a wrench or pliers on some of my squeeze clamps. I give this one a 3.5 (but can't figure the star out) because it is the right tool and it got me through a water pump replacement. 5 clamps, off then back on (10-12 uses) and after the 3rd try the ratchet mechanism started slipping on the catch teeth. From then on I had to manually hold a squeeze on the plier handles to keep a clamp open. If I was doing this more often, I'd pay more money for. a better tool like this one!!!

I'm a heavyduty technician. I snapped my handle in half after the 3rd hose clamp. I would not recommend buying this set.
