I bought these because I’m a wine bartender of 10 YEARS & these advertised being *professional* waiter bottle openers. I thought, “Great!! These should be awesome and durable! I’ll buy them for me and my coworkers!” But it has been the opposite situation.It’s been only 3 WEEKS and I have already had to throw ALL OF THEM away because regular corks (& especially synthetic corks) make the corkscrew bend to where it is unusable after. If you try using it while the screw is bent to open a wine bottle, you risk breaking the top part of the bottle & cutting yourself. There have been many near-bloody scenarios at my wine bar these past few weeks due to these openers breaking the tops of bottles due to their curved flimsy screws - and - I’ve had to dump all those bottles because god forbid glass pieces fell into the wine. Big no-no.If you’re planning a big event and getting these for your waiters, make sure you give each waiter at least 4 of these to carry around on them for the evening so they can quickly grab a replacement when they bend
