It’s defective something wrong inside. It has a five year warranty. Ya right! no warranty is more like it.Finally got tired of white dust (salt I think) on everything, car, showers, dishes. Installed a new one from same company working fine. I must be stupid but to buy from same company but the ratings for it are very good. There’s just something wrong internally, which is impossible for me to repair. It’s not the settings as programming is very easy and have setup many systems.

I installed this unit in a winery tasting room that was having difficulties with getting their glasses clean. The water was very hard and this unit did the trick. It's connected to all of the areas of the tasting room now and the plumbing fixtures are substantially cleaner as is the dishwasher.

Water quality is great and the instructions are lacking. Installed okay, but the programming is hard to tell if you got it right. Weird interface.

Fast customer service answered about packaging damage. Was willing to exchange immediately, but the scratches were cosmetic. Install3d in short order replacing an existing one. Instructions have you to use 1” flex pipe and fittings. I was hoping to use existing plumbing. But it was too much extra work. Found the flex piping and things went smoothly.

I had an Aquasoft system that was 20 years old but was working to remove the yellow color produced by tannins in the well water where I live. Very little iron in the water. I was told to replace the equipment because of its age. The water softener from Pro-Aqua was a higher capacity system, but the resin they packed in it does a poor job at removing the color in the water and the water does not feel slippery on the skin like it used to. I do not recommend this equipment.
