Your cart is empty.Lag screw bolts are used in place of standard wood screws whenever the mounting surface must bear a heavy load. The hex head allows for lag screws to be tightened with more torque than can be used on Phillips head screws, though a pilot hole is still required prior to installation. Note that lag screws do not accept nuts as they are technically thick heavy duty wood screws with threads designed to cut into wood. They are ideal for use on decks since installation can be accomplished without having access to both ends of the fastener, as opposed to standard hex bolts that require a nut on the opposite end.

Lag bolts were too short. had to return at Kohls's Amazon return point. the worker did not know how to do Her job. the other Amazon worker just watched as she struggled to do her job. Until I asked the worker to help her. Sad people not helping a fellow worker who does not know how to return items that did not work. this is the 3 time at this return point Amazon workers not helping people return items because of some minor paperwork problem. then I did not get a full refund for the 400 lag bolts that I returned only half. paid 70. refund 53. dollars. what is this? they can't even count.
