I originally bought this expecting an electrical cord attached (don't ask), but I decided to upgrade with a Stanley 2-gal. air compressor, since I have other needs for it, so I kept the nailer. I've been totally pleased with it. Works as intended, and is really light. The brads that are included are for indoor use only and they only give you 100, so you'll likely want to invest in a quality pack of brads to go along with it. The case is very handy and sturdy enough for light home use.The plastic tip of the barrel came off somewhere while I was nailing a garden fence post, but it doesn't affect the performance. Would buy again.

Just kidding. I am happy with the BN200C. I have only done one project with it so far and it worked flawlessly. It is light and compact, for a brad nailer that can handle up to 2 in. brads. The design of the jam clearing feature looks strong and simple. I have an older BN125 that started to misfire, which I could not fix. So I found this model on Amazon for a good price and bought it.I am not a contractor, only working in my small wood shop, but I believe I made a good purchase. Amazon shipping was fast. I hope to be using this nailer long into the future.

I was ready to purchase a lesser known brand to save a few bucks. Then I read a number of reviews and was impressed by those reviewing the Porter Cable models. I spent a little extra based on the reviews and I am happy with that decision. The unit performed flawlessly out of the box and delivered great results on my cabinet/shelving project. Control of the depth of the nails was very accurate and repeatable, provided you kept the tip firmly on the target spot. I accidentally dropped the gun on a concrete floor at one point. No damage and no change in performance. Well done!

This little inexpensive nailer works fine for small work. I just nailed up a plywood stand of 3/8" plywood. A little glue and 4 nails on each end and I was ready to stain and varnish. Really handy if you have a small compressor set up to run it. Well made. Easy to clear jams. Overall very satisified.

Awesome nail gun! I install a lot of trim after putting floors in and this gun delivers finishing nails perfectly. At 100 PSI and the correct depth setting this nail gun drives the perfect nail! I am impressed with its durability and function. I hope I don't jinx myself but this gun has yet to jam once while I have been using it. There are a lot more expensive guns on the market, as well as cheaper ones, this one is sort of middle of the road. I would say that it has exceeded my expectations, and the accessory case that accompanies this gun keeps it safe when it is not in use.

I opted for this Porter-Cable because I've had such good luck with other Porter-Cable nailers in the past. I was not disappointed. It is very light weight and easy to handle. The nails shoot true and having a tool-less jam clearer will help a lot. I've never had a Porter-Cable nailer jam before but there's always the first timeI make jewelry boxes primarily and one problem I've had using a nailer is not having it at hand when I need it. I usually have to set the piece down, go retrieve the nailer, then go back through the mating process all over again. The BN200C has a belt hook. Thank you Porter-Cable! Now it follows me around the shop and is always at hand when I need it.If you're looking for a lightweight and easy to use brad nailer, you can't go wrong with this one.

I'm a newbie to home improvement so take this review with a grain of salt. I'm not a wood worker or an expert in carpentry. This is the first time I ever owned a nail gun.I don't know if I was supposed to put oil in the air intake valve. No oil was included and I didn't see anywhere in the manual where it said to put oil. Maybe I just missed it. I got my first jam after only 8 nails or so.By the way, you know you've got a jam when you press the trigger and no nail comes out. I found this out the hard way. To remove the jammed nail you just undo the mechanism up top (easy to do) and remove the nail. Thus far I have put up 3 long pieces of crown and used roughly 80 nails in total (including test nails). I've probably had a total of 4 or 5 jams. I am using Bostich 2" brads. Air compressor is a Central Pneumatic with constant pressure at 80psi.The nail gun is light in weight and easily maneuverable. I really like the belt holster which helps me to get to my perch holding the crown allowing me to place it just right before nailing it in. The belt holster can be adjusted for left or right but is a bit difficult to remove. The belt holster must be on the left side before it goes inside the case so if it was on the right, you have to switch it back.I like the case very much. I don't understand why more nail guns don't come with cases. It was the reason I picked this one. That and because it was Porter Cable. They have another unit with stellar reviews that never jams so figured this one would not jam either. This is supposedly an all new design that is supposed to be an improvement. In any case, it's nice to be able to keep my nails, manual, and nail gun in one tidy organized place.I'm still pretty happy with my purchase considering I got a case and some nails to go along with the nail gun. I figure those items are worth at least $20. At a sub $80 price point I think this nail gun is not bad at all. The jams don't bother me too much. If I was a professional I would be very upset, but I don't do that much work with wood, so a jam here and there doesn't bother me.***Update 9-28-13***I have purchased a nail gun by Hitachi from Lowes and it works much better. Still an occasional jam, but nothing in comparison with this nail gun. I paid closer to $150 for my Hitachi so perhaps I got what I paid for? My gun has been used to install the crown moldings in my condo and I just added a chair rail along the hallway, bathroom, dining room, and living room with pretty much zero jams.

Excellent gun. Been using for a while now and it never miss fired or jammed. Easy to set the depth of he shot and not heavy to hold after a full day. The hose is the annoying part.Used other brands and I honestly get more consistent results and precision shots with porter cable. Love it so much I bought a 16 guage too!
