This didn't fit exactly right but I was able to remove the metal plate and cut the rubber down and re-install the metal plate. It worked. I contacted seller first to be sure they didn't have another one that would fit my motor, but they only had a 2 piece and I wanted a 1 piece. First time out today and it worked great!!!

First time out with Whale Tail I noticed planning out much faster.also seemed to conserve fuel but didn't measure in any way. Easy to instal with included materials. Only possible negative is I noticed at full throttle, boat now wants to turn starboard when it didn't before. Considering how water comes off prop, it may be pushing up on the tail more on one side than the other creating the turn. No biggie as we should keep hands on the wheel anyway. Still very controllable

bolts provided don’t even make it through the planer. seems a poor fit for this size of motor despite description
