I actually needed this for a windshield washer line of mine that got damaged. As I mentioned, this is a hard to find size of vacuum hose and I had to use fuel line to start. Since windshield washers have been around for decades, I don't see why the sizes should need to change, but they do, and this hose saved the day.

Used it to connect 5mm OD tubing on my old Mercedes vacuum lines. Worked perfectly.

I used this to replace the water feed lines that feeds into the Honeywell humidifiers attached to my furnace. Much better quality than the original tubing which had a kink and leaked. If you need to feed this though some predrilled holes keep in mind the tubing is relatively thick and has a large OD given the inside diameter. No issue if you use it for standard vacuum line applications.
