Used it in few luxury hotels but was discouraged with price so I bought Black & Deckers…. I had to return black deckers because it wasn’t worth anything. Finally bought this, now super happy. Spent more but now the effort is so little that paying extra isn’t pinching!

I've been looking for a powerful iron at a good price for awhile. Besides ironing my clothes, I sew, so I iron.... a lot! I discovered this Phillips 3000 Steam Iron and thought this would be the perfect iron. It is advertised as having 2400W. That would be a powerful steam iron and absolutely perfect for my needs.I received this iron and it looks exactly like the iron advertised EXCEPT on the box it says that it is only 1250W. That's a huge difference for someone who irons as much as I do. Not nearly powerful enough.Also, the iron was very lightweight compared to other irons I've had in the past. Another negative - and I didn't notice this in the ad - but when I received the iron, I would think it would have included a measuring spout to put water into the iron. It did not have one, but it also did not advertise having one. I thought that was just an automatic thing with all irons - to have the measuring spout included - but it didn't include one. This makes it a bit awkward to have to put the right amount of water into the iron and not overfill. I have spouts, they've always been included with previous irons I've bought. If that is important to someone else, I think they should know.I checked the online ad again and - yes - I did not make a mistake, advertised as 2400W and it is not....only 1250W. I can't repeat that enough, but I don't want someone to make the same mistake that I did.This may be a good iron for people that just need to quickly press something and not use an iron except occasionally, but for anyone who does iron, I just don't think this would be a good fit. It is what I would call a 'starter iron', and should be priced accordingly.

Je suis très satisfait de ce fer à repasser Philips 3000 Series ! Il est extrêmement facile à utiliser et vraiment efficace pour éliminer les plis sur tous types de tissus. La fonction vapeur est impressionnante, avec un débit puissant qui lisse même les plis les plus tenaces en un rien de temps. Le boost de vapeur allant jusqu'à 180 g est idéal pour les tissus plus épais comme le lin ou le coton.Le fer chauffe rapidement et offre une glisse parfaite grâce à sa semelle de qualité. De plus, il est léger et maniable, ce qui rend le repassage beaucoup moins fatigant. Le réservoir d'eau est assez grand pour repasser plusieurs vêtements sans avoir à le remplir constamment. Une autre fonctionnalité que j'apprécie particulièrement est la fonction anti-calcaire intégrée, qui permet de prolonger la durée de vie du fer en évitant l'accumulation de calcaire. En résumé, c'est un produit de très bonne qualité qui rend le repassage beaucoup plus agréable et rapide. Je le recommande sans hésitation !

Sinds vele jaren strijken we met een Philips GC3320 strijkijzer.Daarom hebben we dit strijkijzer model 3000 Series genomen dat er sterk op lijkt.Het strijkt perfect en is eenvoudig in te stellen.Een echte aanrader!
