I got this as a gift for a family member who wears a tie to his restaurant job. He seems really happy with it. It looks nice, not tacky, seems to hold his tie in place. Does the job.

After I lost my first tie clip that came with a skinny tie, I've realized it's hard to find a tie clip that fits a skinny tie well. This does a decent job of not extending too far that it looks like a tie bar, so it gets a good passing grade in my opinion as far a skinny tie clips goes.

I got this tie pin in the sword design and it looks great. It has a lot of style and nice details. I like that it's slightly bigger than normal tie pins so that it makes a statement. I don't love that the clasp arm on the underside of the pin is really big, meaning the tie pin doesn't rest flat against your abdomen/chest but protrudes out. I'd give it 5 stars if it were lower profile.

Its a very nice tie clip that does what its meant to do. Just keep in mind that if you only wear skinny ties then it will be too long for you, but if you were slim and regular ties then it will be perfect.
