I was originally a little hesitant about this design. I was afraid the grate on the bottom would hurt my bunny's feet. I purchased some straw mats to put down on half of the cage so he would have somewhere to rest his feet but I don't think it was necessary. The squares are small enough and the cross bars are on the underside so it doesn't appear to bother his feet. It was fairly easy to assemble but the front panel goes on with the tabs facing OUT. The instructions are not very clear about that and I saw another reviewer say that the door opens inward. It doesn't. The back panel and the front panel have to be placed with the tabs in opposite directions, even though the instructions make it seem like the tabs should be inward on both. I opted to remove the legs and just let it rest on the bottom tray since my bunny sits up on a dresser. If you opt to go that route, just know that you can't slide that bottom drawer in and out without the legs attached. No big deal to me, I usually just let him hop around on the bed when I clean his house but thought it was something I should point out since it's not something I thought about prior to purchasing. Oscar is a dwarf dutch bunny so he isn't big and this is spacious enough for him. I think it would be too small for a larger rabbit. The ramp to the level doesn't click into the level very tightly so he had that thing pulled off pretty quick. I just added the level from his previous house to create a set of "stairs" sort of so he wouldn't have to jump up and down and the level could still be placed higher up. The included bowl is worthless, it doesn't latch onto the bars so he throws it all over. I just moved his locking dish over from the previous cage and it solved that problem. The spacing between the bars is really nice, I use a nipple dropper type of water bottle and the piece to attach it to the cage actually fits on this new cage, I had to use cable ties and some old school poor folk engineering to attach it to the previous cage. This is also much better quality. I was very pleasantly surprised at how sturdy it is. The bars are strong and would take some effort to bend up. The top lid clicks into place nicely and the front door seems to hold well too. Overall I really like this setup. I do wish they had included a locking bowl and that the ramp clicked in tighter for the price but other than that, it's a really nice new pad for Oscar and he seems to agree!

I got this cage for my lionhead/holland lop mix rabbit. He's only 3 months and being a lionhead perhaps won't get any bigger than he is currently. The instructions for assembly are horrible, you have common sense, you'll be fine. I was worried the wired cover over the bottom would hurt his paws, but it's ok and large enough for his droppings to go through so his paws stay clean. I keep a pad on one side. I like the multiple ways to access. The top is great especially that it is high enough for my rabbit to stretch up. He doesn't use the ramp. He jumps up there. He moved the bowl that it comes with to the bottom underneath the raised platform. Lol It has been sturdy for him so far (1 week). The wheels were a definite feature I wanted so I can move him inside and outside. They work great. I wish it came with a hay feeder. I can hang things from it and it's sturdy. You wanna tighten up that tab that allows the tray to come in and out. I had it too loose initially and when cleaning I have to keep holding it up to get the tray in . Overall, I like this purchase.

Item was an obvious return as some of the parts have been assembled and one plastic packaging is torn. In order for me to fit the wheel attachments to the side frames, I have to file down the metal bits that are protruding on the inside when manufacturer made the holes. Poor quality control in that aspect.Once fully assembled, item is sturdy enough and easy to clean. Big enough for one full size Holland Lop.

This cage is a fantastic option for anyone with small pets like rabbits or ferrets. It's roomy, with multiple levels and ramps that keep your pets active and entertained. It's well-built and sturdy, so you know it's going to last. Plus, the secure latches give you peace of mind that your pets are safe. Cleaning it is a breeze, the bottom part slides out effortlessly. Overall, it's a well-designed, convenient, and durable cage that's worth every penny.

Used cage at an animal shelter for a bunny. The quality of the door and hinges was very poor and the unit itself seemed to be made improperly so that it was warped and pieces did not come together correctly when assembling. Shelves and ramps did not line up with attachment notches. I have two other brands that I use that are much better quality of materials and design.

I like that the litter box at the bottom slides out from the front instead of from the sides making cleaning a breeze.

It may be a large size, but this is amazing for a little rabbit!
