I’ve made something like 10-15 bottle openers using these and am pleased with the quality (for the price). There could definitely be some improvements made like the base of the opener that rests against the handle. It isn’t perfectly circular or perfectly centered but the hardware itself is plenty strong and the finish is fairly durable. The finish gets scratched up where it actually contacts the bottle cap but every where else seems to hold up just fine.I see some other reviews mentioning that the threads are difficult to cut in which is true but is also why I just bought myself a tap. The tap doesn’t work well in softer woods like walnut but that’s an issue with the tap (and likely my lack of skill) not these openers.

I really liked how simple this product was to use. I bought a similar product from Rockler woods that comes with threaded inserts and I actually found this product to seat better. There is less moves you have to make, but the only downside is side is you can’t remove the opener to wash it but I don’t plan on doing that anyway.Also, someone on here said they used a 1/4 inch bit to land these but I had to use a 5/16. Hopefully that saves you a little time. Also I filled the hole with ca glue after I seated them to make sure I had the right depth and threading.Also, I’m quite partial to the gun metal coloring.

About what I expected. Heavy enough for the average person to use and maybe even hold up in a bar setting. Will likely use a threaded insert in the handle's, wood and acrylics both for extra support.

These bottle cap removers are excellent. Never had one to break. I recommend this product. Will buy more in the future.

My husband says I can buy these again. They are easy to use and work with. Easy to install in a wooden handle. They are sturdy and easy to pop off soda pop bottle caps anyway, I don’t drink beer.

Wie vorher erwähnt sind es sehr schöne Öffner nur einer ist beim Einschrauben abgebrochen
