Made from 2-inch wide elastic, these suspenders are made with an X-back with black leather crosspatch. Sturdy nickel clips keep a firm grasp on your pants. Available in 4 sizes to ensure a perfect fit. For adults of average build the 42-inch length will fit folks 5' - 5'8" tall; the 48-inch length will fit people 5'8" - 6'1"; the 54-inch length will fit persons 6'1 - 6'5"and the 60-inch length will fit persons 6'4 - 6'9". If in doubt choose the larger size as suspenders can be made shorter but not lengthened.

Worked great at first, but now the grip is loosening, even on blue jeans. Also, rust on the clamp on the body side is an issue.

Very Very Heavy Duty and excellent craftsmanship, but "OVER KILL" for my "lighter duty" needs - and I'm nervous about the clips ripping up my car seat and the back of my guitar or banjo...I couldn't really tell how thick the clips were in their stock images, because there is nothing to "compare" them to (like a tape measure..). My old suspenders clips were barely over 1/4 inch thick (5/16') and taper/angle down to the tip - these bad boys are solid 1/2 inch and have no tapered down angle that would lessen the chance of them gouging the car seat as I (usually) throw myself into the car seat ;) Probably Trucker seats have chain link upholstery and you "hoist" your self UP into the seat. I wish these were more like 3/16 inch thick with a taper towards the end of clasp lever.

the look great and seem to be good quality however I bought for my 6ft tall (slender) husband and they don't adjust enough that he can use them. Gave them to our 5'10 neighbor to try and they didn't fit him either. Too short :-(
