I purchased these jaws for my wood lathe chuck a while back and they have been great. However, I think Tecknatool and Nova could improve upon how they are mounted onto the chuck instead of the screws used to hold them into place. It takes a few minutes to change jaws and that gets a little aggravating having to take so much time to set up. There are other brands that have quick mount jaws that allow them to be changed in seconds. I'd be willing to pay more for that feature with these jaws and the G3 Nova Chuck.

Excellent collection of jaws for Nova chucks (may fit others as well) where holding power is needed for smaller projects. Typical Nova high quality with excellent material.

This product includes 2 jaw sets which only use one screw each for holding the jaws in place on the chuck. The other two use TWO screws. Do not make my mistake and use this jaws to hold the wood part by PRESSING (toward the axis). The single screw just won't take it. This type of jaw set is designed only to by used by PULLING away from the axis. It should have been obvious on first look, but I missed that and twisted two of the allen screws working with a piece of iron wood. Not very smart. Still, it should not be too costly for Nova to stick a note in the plastic bags to remind beginners how NOT to use these jaws. Would be a nice touch.
