I bought a Vicmarc ring to go on my Vicmarc chuck and the ring is really thin and if the wood is off a bit, the Vicmarc ring will flex and bend when screwed down tight. The Nova ring is nearly 3 times thicker and is very stout. I have 2 of the 2" Novas and the 4"...highly recommend this brand. If the surface of the wood is off a bit, I can screw down tight on the high side and then snug up the screws on the low side to keep the ring perpendicular and the ring is so thick it doesnt flex and twist when doing this.

This fits the bill perfectly, I used it for a 55lb cherry blank and it held perfectly - extra screw holes is a plus with unstable wood.

The part is the Nova 6001 100mm faceplate ring. This is the second one in my collection, I was well pleased with the smaller version and wanted the next larger version which was this one. These seem to be well made and fit with the Nova chucks and jaw sets I have.The image shown is for something else, I don't know what. I went by the description and Nova part number and got what I wanted. The image looks like something I'd buy if it were available but the real part does not look like this.

Ordered one, sent it back because the item that I received was not the one pictured. Received the replacement today..... same situation replacement doe not match picture.
