I chose the Nitze cage because it was the only one available for the LH7P monitor, and mostly because i wanted a sun hood for it.In general the cage has been great, because when i'm shooting i grab the monitor to adjust it's angle to see better.Because of that habit, I broke/cracked the bottom piece of my old monitor where the screw connects to the mount. (it's Plastic)So... since the new monitor has the aluminum cage, and the mount connects to the cage and not the monitor anymore. I can grab and tilt as hard as i want,knowing nothing is going to break, that alone makes it worth the investment for me.I like the design of the cage, i really like the rubberized material used for the sun hood, feels like a quality product, waterproof, and no fabric on it.I also like the straps, easy to set up and remove.

It's a good product, and I like Nitze products. I’ve used many of their unique rigs, but I wasn’t happy with the dirty and unpresentable packaging. You can do better than this. I didn't pay for Prime membership so that I can be treated like this.

Really happy Nitze released a cage for this monitor so it’s easier to incorporate into my camera builds. The cage is lightweight and the sun hood is very high quality premium feel leather. Very sturdy, certainly the best monitor setup I’ve owned.
