Bought this to sweat copper to PEX adaptors. Easy enough to follow directions, but the solder seems to just run when brushed on the copper and fittings. It runs immediately and does not etch the copper or draws it into the joint.The fittings literally just slid off the pipe after the solder had cooled off, no solder on the copper pipe or the fitting. I went through 4 or 5 new fittings, debuting, sanding, etc and was not able to achieve a secure connection.Update 10/12Used same tools, solder and fittings - just different flux and had no issues. Not sure if this flux is water soluble, but I have read that others had similar issues with the flux not etching properly.
