This is one of those gadgets I did not need but I really wanted. It has not let me down. It is easy to set up either using cigarette lighter power or better is direct to the car battery. The better your power supply, the better it works but even if a little slower it gets the job done either way.The jack is pretty much the same as the scissor jacks that come with your car. It is a little heavier duty than some of the car jacks I have had but still a lightweight jack. It says it can lift 6000lbs and while I have not had anything that heavy to lift, I do not doubt it could. It is loud when in motion but so are a lot of tools in the shop. The base is nicer than other scissor jacks of mine and feels a little more stable. This a novel idea and as long as it works, I will keep pulling it out to use.

I like that it is plug and play. It is very easy to use. Either plug it into a cigarette lighter plug or attach the included alligator clamps to 12 volt battery posts. The unit is solid steel. The end cap for the motor housing is plastic. It functions nicely. The inline power wire has an attached remote with simple up or down function. This is a scissor jack similar to what is found included in most cars from the factory. However, this is powered and and very easy to use. I normally carry a 3 ton floor jack in my truck to service my fleet or to help whenever someone is in need. I like that this is much lighter. It comes in a blow mold case with metal buckles, not the greatest quality buckles. They seem a little loose, however, they do their intended job. I really appreciate that the case has a reflective hazard symbol on the back, so when you are using it, other driver can see you. Visibility is key when on the side of the road broken down, so is speed. This is very useful and gets the car up much faster than a traditional scissor jack. It's easier to carry around than my floor jack. The motor is very noisy in either direction. I don't think this really matters when on the side of the road, just thought I would mention it. I don't have any vehicles that are 3 tons. To lift my ranger, I needed to have a wood block to place between the jack and the lift point.Points of contention.The max lift height is unsafe at the max weight as this is a scissor jack, be careful when using it. Brace your vehicle.Also, in my opinion this is more for a small suv, car or small pickup.This has a bottle jack lift point on it, so you will most likely need a block of wood, not always, but most likely.I would recommend this to keep in a vehicle. It's easy to use, compact and easily storable.in it's case.I would purchase this again for my other vehicles in the future.

Having recently evacuated our state for a massive hurricane, we saw quite a few cars on the side of the road along the way with various issues, some of which were blown-out tires! It made me really nervous because frankly, I didn’t know if I’d even be able to take care of a blown-out tire and installation of a spare if I had to! That was a big wake-up call for me and now I’ve been on the hunt for emergency gear for my car so I can be prepared instead of panicked!This electric car jack gives me confidence that even without great strength, I will have the right tool to lift my small sedan enough to remove a tire and install my spare. All I need to do is place the anti-slip support under a structural member, plug it into the cigarette lighter port, and the motor will literally do all the heavy lifting for me!The jack comes with a long cord to reach the lighter port or the battery, some gloves, two different support heads, a hand crank, some fuses, and a user manual. It also comes in an organized case with a reflective triangle on the side for an emergency road indicator. It is a great relief to have this quality electric car jack in my car to be ready if I ever need it! I want to make sure every member of my family has one of these in their cars!
