Usage Warm Tips

Safety Usage -- Contact Safety Design requires that the nail gun can only be fired when contact safety is fully depressed on the working surface to prevent accidental firing or damage caused by misuse.
Step 1 - Insert the fully charged battery into the nail gun.
Step 2 - Press the contact safety firmly, then head light will illuminate.
Step 3- Squeeze the trigger to activate the brad nailer.

I was looking for a reasonably priced alternative to a larger 15 ga nail gun, and this cordless 18 ga brad nailer was perfect. I bought it specifically to reinstall baseboards in a room where we ripped out carpet and installed vinyl planks. Dialed up to its maximum power setting, and using the supplied 1 1/4" brads, it handled the task of penetrating the baseboards and sinking the brads into the wallboard easily. It jammed only once in the coarse of driving about 50 brads, which is typical of nailers this size being pushed to their capacity limit. A tool costing twice the price could be expected to have about the same reliability, if you believe the online reviews. The jam was cleared with very little effort, requiring no tools and no disassembly of the tool. I simply picked the pretzeled nail out of the snout of the tool with my fingernail, and was back in business. Definitely recommend this tool to the casual home improvement hobbyist. Before putting the tool away after its intended use I was able to use it to strengthen an old rickety particle board file cabinet, well offsetting the initial cost of the tool compared to replacing the cabinet.

Works great no jams as of yet only issue is I wish it fired brads a bit longer at least 2” but it has worked perfectly so far. It weighs 5.3 pounds loaded with battery and brads.

Loved how easy this nail gun is to use and its sleek design. It’s extremely simple to use. I had an issue with the battery failing after four uses. I was immediately contacted by the seller and they were able to help me out to correct the situation.

Received this nail gun yesterday evening. The item looks great and feels sturdy though a bit heavy. I don't mind the heaviness but I what I do mind is weakness of the guns power to push the nail even close to flush with surface of material. Using on white pine the gun cannot set a 3/4" nail below the surface. It is a useless tool if every nail has to be hand set. I've had air nailers most of my career as a carpenter and also used Paslode nailers and never had a problem unless they needed a good oiling and cleaning. Because of my age I felt a cheaper gun would be fine for the small jobs I do now. I was wrong I should have spent a little more money and bought a well known brand. So if you want to nail a marshmallow to a piece of cardboard this is the gun for you otherwise look elsewhere and go for a well known name brand. I will be sending this back immediately. It doesn't even deserve a one star in my opinion and how others rated this with a 5 is beyond anyone's imagination.

Okay I got this last year for a Christmas present from me to me. So I've had it almost a year. I have used this a lot and it stays charged for whatever I need it for. I have used this thing for hours and it never stopped working in the middle of something and had to stop to charge the thing. It is a little heavy but it is well made, I have dropped this thing a lot and it still works. So I can say it is very durable.Okay in the reviews that I read before I purchased this I noticed that people were saying that the staples or brad's didn't go in all the way in. You just have to adjust it to the correct depth that you want it. When you press down hold it down firmly, if you hold it loosely the staple or brad is not going to go all the way in. I've only had a few jams but I put a little bit of wax that I use on my bandsaw blade on it and it seemed to clear it right up. And pretty much all the jams that happened was because I was in a hurry. I would highly recommend this product.
