Maybe it's just me; but the product image made these fish look like they were different sizes, going from large to small. Also, possibly with a patina effect? Anyway, they are all solid black, and the same sized fish. Plus, SUPER heavy.I was eager to purchase an inexpensive focal point (rain chain fountain?) for a water garden I'm piecing together. So, I purchased this chain used for $30, without too much investigation. I will say that I love the fish, and I look forward to trying to make them work for my application. The chain they are on is awful. All the painted black bits are flecking off everywhere, and I'm sure it will rust. Also, the fish don't seem to direct the water downward without a fair amount of splashing. So rain chain for a gutter on your house; I don't know? I'd probably keep looking or plan on doing some tweaking to make them work. I was planning on modifying whatever I got anyway, so I'm pleased with my choice.

These have barely been up a month and are already rusting through and the rings that hold the umbrellas together are not the proper grade of metal so they are coming apart and making the whole chain fall down. Waste of money.

Looks great. The mounting bracket tends to accelerate the water stream away from the first cup in the chain. Will rust quickly. You will need to treat right out of the box to protect the existing finish. I applied old motor oil but a rust paint may work too.

This really looks the part but the balls have fallen off one by one, you can screw them back together but due to the design as you screw one part in it pushes the next part out so you need to find the sweet spot in between then when you hang it up the movement of the breeze loosens everything and the balls fall off. Very disappointing and frankly a waste of money.
