I needed a fairly skinny chalkboard to put in the bar area in my dining room, and this fit the bill perfectly. It's pretty sturdy and is set up so you can mount it horizontally or vertically. The only drawback is I really have to scrub with water to get it clean. Although to be fair, I'm not sure if that's because of the chalkboard or because of the chalk pens I'm using.

This chalkboard is fabulous. The wood is very rustic, so be aware of that if you are looking for something sleek. The chalkboard portion itself is great. I work with chalkboard all the time and this one is the easiest to clean, by far. I use chalk markers and they look smooth on the surface and wipe completely clean with baby wipes. Would recommend.

In my kitchen I have my fuse box on the wall where anyone can obviously see. The cut out is not measured for a fuse box covering plus I didn’t want an ugly grey or black metal plate on my wall. I give credit to PINTEREST for this ideas and found this piece I wanted for the wall. Plus this wood finish was the last one. I had to have it because it also matches our back door! What a beautiful solution! Now the kids can stop asking what’s for dinner as they walk in the kitchen every five minutes! 🥰

The product itself is very nice. Sturdy and looks great. It is hard to clean off though. You really have to use a cleaner to get the writing off. I started using the pink stuff cleaner and that seems to do a bit better.

Nice product, not happy with how the Chalkboard is attached to the frame. I had to add an all purpose adhesive to secure it. Looks great ! The Magnets do not stay on ! No way should this be sold as " magnetic ".

I had high hopes for this board based on the reviews. I was expecting something sturdy and durable. I could have made this myself from nicer wood and cheap contact paper or an infrared board for under $15 which is what this board is worth. It’s super cute and will work for my needs but I don’t expect it to last, which I thought by how it looked, the price, and the reviews, it would. Really disappointed.

Love it! Lightweight. Can easily be adhered with heavy duty double sided tape (take off the screw holders on the back so it lies flush). Takes chalk markers beautifully (can easily be removed with damp paper towels). Love it for my farmhouse kitchen!
