It works and the bracket is thick powder coated steel. The cushion itself is about 2.5 inches thick which means you are about 2 inches forward on the seat. My groin was resting on my gas tank. Overall if I needed to get closer to the tank this would be perfect. I have a 32 in inseam. It is made well and not cheaply made. Hope this helps

This product says “for driver seat,” in fact it’s for the rear passenger.

Wasn't expecting much since no reviews so I took a chance. The fit onto the front of the pillion seat is perfect into existing bolts under the seat. 4 self tapping screws into the back of the backrest attach it quite firmly. If the padded bit gives up over time I'll just look for a replacement pad as it's the bracket that's the bike specific part. Perfect for my 2006 Honda VTX 1300S.
