This is an amazing tool!! Worth every penny. I've had it for a week, I've been putting in 2" nails anywhere I want, into wood concrete or studs, without any issues whatsoever, the first day I had it I did an entire floor of office baseboards, 3/4" ply into sheetrock, and i did it all in a matter of a few hours. (That's fast). Not one nail didnt go all the way in. It's super quiet. Not too heavy in your hand. I only lost one light on my battery during that entire job, so i still had plenty of power to go. and most importantly - NO COMPRESSOR! I meam no big tank to carry, no long twisted hose, no loud recharge of pressure or nails that stick out. It's just flawless. Ive also installed 3/4" solid wood baseboards onto a masonry firewall with the same results. I also took a 4x4 wood post and shot it to hell with nails and then couldn't see any of them, so clean and perfect. All with 2" 18guage brads. I've been doing construction for over 20 years and decided to try an alternative to lugging around the compressor for trim jobs. my nail gun broke so i decided to bump up the extra cash and try this one. I didnt want the type that uses gas cartridges. Since i have the M18FUEL drill set with batteries and charger (which is the best drill set i ever had, maybe only matched by Hilti) so I only needed the tool - this does not include batteries charger or a case.Over the years I have had problems with tools such as batteries running out too fast or hard to slide in and out, cheap materials, nails that dont get pushed in all the way and have to be hammered in with a nail set, hose connection leaks and compressor issues, limits on hose length and outlet locations for compressor, hose getting tangled on my feet when I'm up on a ladder.... ... all of those things are in the past with this one.Well I just went for the co vengeance of eliminating the tank but came across a really fine piece of equipment overall.

I had already purchased a Ryobi nailer and after 2 uses it quit working. My husband has all Milwaukee tools and asked me to get this one instead. We've installed trim in our entire house and it hasn't given us any issues at all. No jamming or anything.

If you use a brad nailer then this gun is hard to beat. First off I use an array of dewalt and Milwaukee tools including a lot of battery powered nailers. Milwaukees nailers are just simply better. They are more up to date. dewalt needs to update their guns. This gun has no spool up sound and it’s quite. Hands down way more convenient than pneumatic. I haven’t had a single misfire or jam since I bought the gun and I’ve used it heavy. It comes with a variety of tips. They’re on the side of the gun so be sure to check them out. It is a bit heavy but it’s not bad. Long run the value is gonna be great because air compressors and hoses don’t last forever and a good compressor is gonna cost as much as this gun on its own.

Worked well on a limited run right out of the box with no adjustments needed. I'm not a carpenter, never had a power nailer before, don't know what I'm doing. I purchased this because I had a repair project requiring a brad/finishing nailer and a couple of small projects coming up. I wanted something cheap as I had limited use but was scared off by the reviews (I did need it to do the job). I have many Milwaukee tools so even though some reviews were critical, I chose this platform (I also didn't want to have to deal with pneumatic). When the box arrived, it was badly damaged with a hole/tear down one side. Not buying from an authorized reseller I was also skeptical I might get used or a knockoff. The box had been previously opened (and I read Victoria Sunrise, the seller, records the serial numbers so no surprise) and re-taped. Based on the condition of the box, I did a thorough inspection (using light and magnification). The unit appears to be a genuine Milwaukee product and had no signs of being used. One side had dust on it, indicating it had sat out of the box/bag for some period of time. I loaded one set of nails and did a test run to ensure it was working properly, didn't damage my project and get the depth set correctly. It fired correctly every time (6 times). I then used it on my project (4 nails) and again, it fired correctly each time. So admittedly, I have no experience and made a very small run but it worked fine. Although this is overkill for my needs, based on reviews, I didn't trust the less expensive electric (corded or battery) to do the job properly. It does come with instructions to clear jams and reset the striker (although I haven't needed that yet). I also have only used the 'Single Sequential Actuation' setting (and may never have a need for 'bump' mode. One other thing it has and is present in the pictures but I didn't see mentioned is it has an LED light. Not very powerful but did help. I could see if you were putting up crown molding over your head, this would get heavy fast. :-)

You wouldn't understand the five stars unless you bought it yourself!

I am very disappointed with the condition it arrived in. First of all, the box was damaged. Upon further inspection, it was evident that the tool itself had been used before. Additionally, the serial number is incorrect .

Love it now. At first I didn't! Right out of the box, the magazine was open, and wouldn't close. I didn't want the hassle of sending back, I decided to fix it myself. Was about to give up, but loosened a screw to take the magazine apart, and it closed after that, guess whoever put this thing together screwed up! Closed the mag and tightened the screw back and no more problems. Have a Dewalt one, but like this one much better. Not as big, no wind up, and can get replacement tips, which I've never been able to find for the Dewalt one. Love it! Though I had to fix it!:)
