The sealer worked straight out of the box, without issue. My problem is that it was not clear at all that you had to change out the sealing wire to get it to seal and cut. Once I figured that out, by looking at other listings, I was able to figure out I need to put the round wire in there.Replacing the sealing wire is a pain, but doable. If you aren’t dexterous, good luck. But they are all like this. TIP; be very gentle with the screws holding the wire in. They seem to be floating or something and are very fragile feeling.Overall, the product works great, seals quickly, and does exactly what I need.Tip: start at like heat 3 and see if that works. Make sure to wait at least that full second after the light goes off. It’s important.Not sure why none of the questions are answered correctly indicating it can seal and cut.The instructions might as well have been in Latin, because they made no sense and provided no real use. Just watch the video they have. Pretty simple to use.While some people say they received a unit that needed additional repair to work, mine worked straight out the box.I’d recommend this unit. Hope it lasts 18 months.PS, I gave it 3*’s on easy to use for the reason of being challenging to change the sealing wire.

I love this impulse sealer. I bought it in 2021 and it has worked well for me. The seal quality is good and changing the heating element is pretty simple. The fuse button fell off though and it stopped working. I’m not sure how to contact the seller. Please reach out to me.

La primera selladora que me llegó venía con el control de temperatura roto. Sin embargo, el tiempo de respuesta de Amazon y del proveedor fue súper rápido y una semana después tenía en la puerta de mi casa una selladora completamente nueva y en perfecto estado. Hasta ahora me ha funcionado perfectamente, la he usado con bolsas termoencogibles y estoy contenta con los resultados.

At first I found it difficult to use for my needs. Once I got used to it, making my bag sizes perfect to fit, it is so easy. I now can't imagine using anything else. Really good quality.
