These are multipurpose, as long as you have no need for a built-in mesh layer for swim trunks. They work just as well as athletic shorts, and the color options don't call attention the fact that they CAN be swim trunks - they just look like normal shorts. The material is extremely lightweight and "breezy" in warm weather.The pockets are roomy and the zippers on each work well. They feel true to size and the drawstring gives some extra security.

I was surprised how light these swim trunks are. It's the material it's made from. Very light and it will dry quickly. It doesn't seem to absorb water as normal material would. It's as water-repellent a material as I've seen.I also like that it has two zippered pockets. These can come in handy if you have a motel card-key (or regular keys) and want to keep them secure while swimming. I wouldn't recommend putting your cell phone in the pocket (as the description says). While you can do that, if you forget and go swimming, your phone might be get water damaged. The material is water-repellent, not water-proof.I was initially worried about the size. I guess because it was so light-weight, I thought it might be too small, but it fit just right. I mainly use these when using my hot tub. I would recommend these.

These swim trunks are a great addition to my swim wardrobe. They're versatile enough for swimming, surfing, lounging at the beach, or even casual wear around town. The quick dry material is a huge plus, keeping me cool and comfortable even on hot days. The zipper pockets are handy for storing my keys, phone, or wallet. I appreciate the UPF 50+ sun protection, which helps protect my skin from harmful UV rays. The elastic waistband with drawstring ensures a comfortable and secure fit. If you prefer your activity shorts on the roomy side, then you will likely be pleased with these trunks. I chose the medium size based on my slim 6-foot frame, and they fit well. The 9-inch length falls at about the top of the knees, as expected. Note that these trunks are not lined, so if you plan to use them for swimming you may want to wear something underneath to provide some support. The zippered side pockets are deep enough to accommodate my iPhone Pro Max. Plus, they have a small vent hole to let out water if you use them as swimwear. Generally, the construction is OK, but there were a few loose threads on the side darts that needed to be trimmed. Overall, these have been very comfortable and, surprisingly, they have become my go-to shorts for wearing around the house.

This simple and colorful swimsuit has features that I appreciate. There are two zippered pockets in the front that also use drain holes as depicted in the photo.The elastic waistband is comfortable and uses a drawstring for extra security.Note that this swimsuit does not have a liner.The material is very lightweight and dries quickly. I could not find any flaws in the garment. There were no apparent random stitches.Highly recommended.

I got these swim suit for my 15 year old son. These fit him true to size. I love the classic black color, as it goes with anything. These swim shorts are light weight and dry quickly. The waist is nice and secure on him, but are not too tight. The pockets zip closed, so items stay securely in his pocket. The shorts go down to just below his knee, so the coverage is great (he is 5'4" for reference). The stitching is perfect, no pulls or uneven stitches. These could pass for a regular pair of shorts.The pockets, while they zipped closed, didn't zip well. One of the zippers caught several times and was difficult to close up. These shorts also do not come with the mesh under the shorts. My son isn't the biggest fan of this.Overall, for $30, these are worth the cost. These will definitely get a lot of use!

They look great and are true to size. We got the dark blue, and it isn't at all see through. I like that there are zippered pockets. They are super quick to dry, and you can see that they repel a lot of water. They are supposed to be UPF 50, so that is a nice feature as well. They're light weight but not at all flimsy. I think they will be great for taking on a trip. Very happy with this purchase- highly recommended!

Got these for my husband. He loves the color, and they fit true to size. They’re super soft and seem made well, except the pockets are kind of weird, which is why we only rated them 4 stars. Instead of being deep, they kinda go towards the back of the shorts. It’s hard to explain. Honestly, he would be fine without the pockets and just make me carry his things in the beach bag anyways. Definitely worth keeping!
