I recently bought this product for my 2000 Honda Civic since my check engine light came back on after replacing the charcoal canister and since every auto parts store was telling me that this was the cause of gas smells and/or gas fumes coming into the car with the a/c on and with the windows down. After I reset the check engine light about a week later the light came back on. So either the part is defective or there is something else wrong with the car. So my best advice bed wasting a lot of money is to do a smoke test before buying anything. That way you know exactly what the problem is.
