Works well and the battery lasts a fairly long time! It seems fairly well made, works fine, and glue holds well. It heats up a little slower than the description would have you believe, but it's fine for my purposes. My only complaint is that it is very front heavy and falls forward, even with the battery attached. I fixed it by attaching a couple of 1/16" thick, narrow rubber strips under the front of the battery. The strips tilt it back just enough to keep it from falling forward.

The temps it runs at are listed incorrectly on the box and some places on the literature and ad.It runs from:C: 100°-200°F: 212°-392°Now for likes & dislikes.Likes: runs on 20v Max Dewalt batteries, comes with a 2 AH battery & charger, temp can be changed and current temp is displayed while heating, can run on A/C power and includes A/C CABLE, standard size nozzle that can be exchanged with other nozzles you can buy online, comes with a bag of clear hot glue sticks.Dislikes: no light, no temp control or display when running on A/C.Overall it's been running great and I'm very happy with my purchase!

The charger does not function. Green lite comes on when plugged in. Would not charge my dewalt batteries. Used my dewalt charger to charge battery. Glue gun itself works great.

Being someone who uses 20V Dewalt tools, The battery and charger that I received DO NOT work with 20V Dewalt charger and battery. A 20V Dewalt battery DOES NOT work in the glue gun. In a nutshell, what I received is NOT Dewalt compatible.Also the glue gun will only work if the supplied battery is at least 50% charged or more. Under the 50% level, it will shut off within seconds of being turned on. I will say that so far when it is on and hot, it seems to work OK.
