Reviews of other similar product indicated that packing and mat damage was an issue. So I bought this product because of earlier comments on how good the packing was. I was not disappointed. The packing was excellent. The mats and backing boards were packed is such a way that it would be difficult to damage them. This the first time I have bought photo mats, so I have nothing to compare the quality; however, the quality was everything I could ask for. I am very satisfied with the purchase and will definitely order from this supplier again.Update: I reordered this product. Once again the packing was excellent. My previous review still stands.

These framing mats came with everything you need to quickly and professionally mat your artwork. The mats were beveled and came with a matching backboard. A really nice touch were the clear cellophane bags that came with the order. They perfectly fit the 16x20” mat and had a strip of adhesive to easily secure the top flap of the bag. The items came packaged in a box with styrofoam blocks to hold the items in place during shipping and protect the edges from getting dog eared. I will definitely buy again.

Obviously the box was dropped on a corner. Matting and backer boards were dented. The other issues is the first couple of mylar bags were wavy, maybe from the heat? IDK who's issue it is but when I put my art prints in them and sell them to customers nobody wants a dented item. Maybe they need more packaging if they're selling through Amazon? Other then that the product was good and solid. Well except for some of the bags.

The mats have backing mats included as well as bags so it's a complete set. I particularly like the way it's packaged, very convenient for intermitent use. I wish they also had an option for Black mats as well.
