These claves are adult sized.They have a nice warm brown color and make some noise!I never played percussion instruments before and have not actively played anything for many years. I thought these would be a great way to learn something new while just playing around. Having fun!

Beautiful warm tone combined with ringing clarity. Crisp attack. Just what you want to hear from quality claves. Some claves make a dull thump. Not these!

I grabbed this as a way to count rhythms for someone and they did the job perfectly.The sound is a little "sharp" compared to what I was expecting, but not enough to negatively impact my review.I'm not a percussionist by trade, but I do know of the Ludwig name and that's why I went with these.

Reasonable CLAVES but advertised as rosewood.They are not rosewood, but a Made in Mexico (which is fine) other hardwood (which is not fine!).Decent price and serviceable but no correctly described.
