The intricate design of this tureen is what I imagine to find in doll houses, only that it is life sized and for real. The size is bigger than I expected. I was looking for a tureen that is just right for an intimate dinner for two. And this tureen will look nice placed in a small table setting, although its capacity can serve more than two. This order was shipped overseas and it arrived intact. I was also lucky to buy it at a discounted price with free shipping, and no import fees deposit charged. It was a win situation for me.
