My German Shepherd loves chasing the dot so this works great. It’s brighter than I thought it was going to be which is good. Only drawback I’ve seen is that it doesn’t get less bright when it needs charged, it just turns off. That’s only a small annoyance at best and this is a great product so far.

Useless piece of trash. Bought the rechargable laser because my cat likes playing with the little coin battery lasers, and this lasted one whole charge before it no longer charges or even comes on. The blue activation light comes on but the red laser beam is dead. It doesn't even charge anymore. Lasted a single use and then quit working. If you value your time and money, you will not waste it on this piece of junk. Would rate it negative stars if I could.

My cat goes bonkers for this toy. She wants to play with it several times a day, and it has been months! When I come upstairs at night she goes right to the spot where she likes to play with it.Having tried both the battery and the USB version, the USB version wins paws down, at least for heavy use. The battery one runs down the batteries too quickly, and as it runs them down, it gets harder to use. I feel like, as the batteries wear down, I have to press the button harder and harder to get the beam to stay steady. The USB one is much steadier. This wouldn’t be an issue if you just used it occasionally.

I used to go through disposable batteries so fast in our old laser pointer; this one lasts about five or six times as long! My young cat can actually get so worn out, she will lie down for a rest! I like the shape, easy to keep it handy. This rechargeable laser is so bright, strong and a great tool for kitty exercise routines. Well worth it!

This laser pointer is very lightweight plastic and overall weighs about what an AA battery does. It has a really small battery that doesn’t seem to last more than five minutes. Thank goodness it’s rechargeable.

The battery runs out of power after playing with the cat for about 5-10 minutes, and I have to recharge it. Also, I bought this specifically because it said "USB C Direct Charging". However, it is not actually USB-C, it is micro USB, which is a different connector.
