Your cart is empty. When Kirk Hammett first got his hands on a Jazz III pick, he never looked back-its superior speed, precision, and control changed his whole playing experience. Eventually, he took to customizing it himself for even better handling by cutting a V-shape out of the grip. Based on that modification, we created the Kirk Hammett Signature Jazz III Pick so you can keep a regular supply of the same pick Kirk uses on the road and in the studio. Now available in purple sparkle.

My friend uses the Jazz series picks by Dunlop and when I found out that Kirk used them I decided to try them out. Kirk is my favorite Guitarist of all time so when I found out he had his own signature picks AND they were Jazz series, it was a no brainer for me! Besides my guitar is Purple so these were a perfect match for me. I love em, I love the look, I love the grip they have and I love how versatile they are 10/10 recommend!

My playing improved instantly, and I can’t live without these picks. No joke. Instant Level-Up. Don’t be afraid of them being small - you won’t even notice; plus, it’s part of their secret sauce. Further, these baddies last like Gobstoppers - you really get some high mileage out of these picks. The material is hard and smooth without being glassy or imparting any microphonics, sonically smoothing attack while creating and maintaining tight articulation. My wife even walked in the room and was like, “Did you just get better?!” And that’s before she saw the glitter! So, I can also safely say that these picks will also help you get chicks.

I love this pick. It has helped me advance my solos and it is nice and bouncy. It is much smaller than I expected but this helps me skip around the string’s without the other ones interfering. Takes some time to get used to but once you do it helps a lot.

Best picks out there, the signature and branding are raised to provide grip. They do not wear down after 100+ hours of use and look really good while using them. You cannot go wrong with a set of these.

Although they do feel a little small at first, once you get used to them they’re great for fast playing since they just glide across the strings, and great for alternate picking due to the shape, and are great for pinch harmonics. overall very solid picks, but if you’re looking for the best guitar picks for metal, i would say my favorite is the Hetfeild white fangs, but these are great also.

These picks are pretty small to hold compared to a typical pick, but once you get used to that change they are amazing! I find myself being more precise than ever before. its nice not having to raise my hand as much to pick, the strings feel so much closer with this smaller pick. plus the quality is really nice and I might be biased because Kirk is my hero hahaha the v cut is actually life changing! Definitely recommend

But, my specs were clearly laid out before searching for the picks that would fit my requirements. I knew the size, thickness and types of material. After a few hours of searching and cross referencing I kept winding up with these. I mean purple? WTF? then I asked are these really what he uses (it only mattered because if he didn't I'd pass and just say it's more mass marketing BS that a lot of players just stick their name on). Nope, you can see them on the mic stands at all the concerts. Took a shot. They came, kinda weird with the notch (which wasn't part of my specs, but it seemed like it might help with the grip). Did a bunch of runs and some economy picking licks. Really nice. Made for speed. Hit the rhythm, which I thought would be not as fun, but nope it handle them well. I remembered Blackened which is fast AF and these effortlessly got me through it. So, I came in expecting I'd just use it a few times and toss them in the tin with the rest of the picks, but these might carry me for a while. BTW, they are sharp which is what I wanted in a Jazz III style. Not sure what the thickness is but I wanted between 1 and 1.15 and this probably around there. The only con is that be careful where you set these down or they might get lost because of their size and color kinda blends in with everything.

This is a quality pick, it's thick enough for fast picking and the bevelled edges help to move across the strings easier, the raised name, cut out, and signature help to grip it, and the colour and sparkles are just a bonus. The downside is the length of the pick, from the centre of the v-cut-out to the tip of the pick measures 20.5mm, which is about 10mm shorter than most quality picks, and this means less pick to grip and more movement when playing, unless you have a very firm grip.Smaller hands will work better with this pick and Kirk Hammet is proof of that, small hands big sound. This is just a heads-up for people with big hands (me) so don't let it put you off buying and trying this excellent pick, and the cut-out does have a stabilizing effect, it stops it from drifting sideways, unlike a flat pick. Hope this helps.....
