Absolutely LOVE the machine!! Start off ... the packing was beyond adequate. BUT, they roll up the extra heating element and secure with a wire tie. IT ARRIVED BENT. Amazon could not secure a new element without exchanging the entire machine. Since there are at this moment only 6 available, I'm sure they are already packaged the same way. SO I love the machine enough to keep.I read before buying that extra elements are available .... and if that becomes the case I'll gladly upgrade this to 5 stars. I have a some searching to do as they do not exist on the manufacturers website nor on Amazon (according to my search and Amazon's customer service). BUT JUST FOUND SOME REPLACEMENT ... set of 2 for under $10 on Amazon ... but, still wish they could have replaced the one that is bentI own 5 impulse machines as well as 3 vacuum sealers. I KNOW that a bent replacement element does NOT give a good seal. The bend will NOT stretch out. ALL they had to do was roll it around something that would keep it's shape or lightly tape it on top of the mounted element.....
