Good heat generation and lifespan. A good value as one lasts several months with almost constant use. I always keep a box or 2 stocked back when it comes to these. One of my top brands I prefer.

I use a heat lamp on my bearded dragons and have been very disappointed with the name brand bulbs that I've been buying. It is not unusual for them to arrive broken, or even to die within a month of purchase.These bulbs have a slightly different shape than I am used to (flattened off top) but they fit the fixture fine. They seem to put out appropriate heat according to my thermometers and they work well with a dimmer switch. Already they have outlasted name brand bulbs without costing nearly as much.

When used inside my oven this wattage bulb keeps my oven at a proofing temperature of around 94 degrees.

The light bulb blew up and exploded into my turtle tank I ended up returning the other lightbulb. It really sucks because the turtle tank had to be cleaned immediately so the turtle and fish weren’t affected.

I was using this as a heat lamp for my goslings and one of the bulbs went out after 3 days. The other bulb is being used for my painted turtle and is still working but it has been a week so I’m not so confident in the quality.
