This is a great all around servo. It is metal geared, inexpensive, ball bearing, fast, strong, and reliable. I trust them all around on my $600 model airplane. They also make great servos for walking robots, much cheaper than the purpose built ones that cost several hundred.

This is the second one I've ordered. It a very cost effective metal gear servo. I've used it in my pan car that I race, and now I'm using another one in a different project. Very reliable product.

Tried many other servos from club members to replace RC Nirvana sailboat sail servo that would fit the servo arm, none worked. Recommended this servo from rc sail and the servo arm fits the gear and works great.Probably would also work for the rudder servo, have not tried it.

This is highest torque analog servo in Hitec product line.I bought this one for 30$, and digital servo for 70$ to compare them for robotic arm application. This one is nearly silent, and has a very strong torque, nearly as much as 70$ digital one. I would even say, that I really like the way this servo sounds while working.Digital servo for 70$ has very loud, high-pitch sound, which is very unpleasant to everybody around, and people asked me many times to switch off the robotic arm, as they did not want to hear this sound.So I am now using only HS-645MG in all robotic arms. Strong work horse servo, reliable metal gears.Highly recommend this product to anyone, good job, Hitec guys! And if you can, please silence you digital servos, because acoustics is the reason we cannot use them often :)

If you own an HPI Savage X or XL, you know the steering servo is absolutely too weak for the truck. I had other friends with 1/8 MTs & Truggy's that can do laps around me because my Savage (even brand new) turned so poorly. I started out getting a hump-pack for the receiver and when that didn't fix it, I opted to just get a better steering servo. At this price, it's probably the best upgrade you can do to the truck. Not only that, but when you replace the steering servo with this one, move your steering servo to the throttle/brake spot. It's got higher torque (oz) than the throttle one so you can upgrade both of these pieces at once.

Over the last two decades I have used hundreds of servos for dozens of builds. Radio controlled devices, stage props, special fx devices and arduino projects. The Hitec brand servos are without a doubt the most reliable with the most consistant quality servos I have ever used.

habe ich als starken Lenkservo für einen LRP Scout Crawler eingebaut.Sehr wichtig . kauft auf jedenfall einen Aluhebel für den Servo und nehmt bei einem Crawler nicht die Plastikhebel.Der Servo hat 24 Zähne (wichtig als Angabe für den Aluhebel).Funktioniert bestens mit einem BEC Spannungsregler.
