HOW TO INSTALL

PREPARATION:

  1. Place the vehicle on a secure ana level surface.
  2. Set the parking brake.
  3. Clean the mounting suraces betore beginning installation.

INSTALLATION:

  1. Crimp connect the 12-volt accessory to the Connectors and then crimp them to the Wire Harness 150mm.
  2. Remove the hood and access the inner firewall. Remove the nine bolts that hold thefirewall to the hood section. Disconnect thespeed key wire harness (if equipped). Retainthe stock bolts for reuse.
  3. Locate the accessory wire harness and connect the 1Wire Harness 150mm.
  4. Route the other end as needed.

  • 5.Reinstall the inner firewall with the stock

bolts.Torque to 3Nm (0.3 m-kg or 2.2 lb-ft)

  • 6. lnstall the hood back on the vehicle.

MAINTENANCE:

  • Periodically, check torque on all hardware. If loosehardware is found, re-torque to specification.
  • Clean painted metal parts with a clean soft cloth andmild soap and water solution. Rinse and dry.
  • Specification: Total of all accessory powerconnections may not exceed 20 amps.

Connector worked perfectly but the polarity was backwards!! Just check before installing.
