I liked that it holds both large and small pieces of corn. The dish has plenty of room for butter and won't drip out. The glass container classy and not made of plastic. Sturdy too.

Wish I had known about these dishes before, as they are fantastic with corn on the cob! Perfect forgetting the butter on the ear of corn and keeping everything in one dish. They are very pretty and look great on the table.

For 20 years I've used the tipsy yellow plastic corn-on-the-cob holders which were semi-functional but always spilled butter on the table cloth...yeah I'm one of those moms who's always used a table cloth and place mats. I like the nice look of the table with a cloth but gosh I got tired of having to fabric spray every time we had corn.This product is perfect. Instead of being tippy it's got a flat base and instead of being flimsy it's heavy enough to be stable.I purchased enough to have dinner guests as we love to BBQ and eat outdoors (yep I use a table cloth on the deck also..I like the decor of it!).With 8 of them we'll have sufficient for another family and I'm considering buying another couple of sets for those Saturday nights when we end up with a crowd.This is one of most intelligently designed products I've purchased recently. The glass looks a bit nicer than banana yellow plastic. Do yourself a favor and spend a bit of money on yourself-yeah, they are much more expensive but worth it IMHO. While you're at it, buy some new handles for your corn. Get rid of the chintzy yellow plastic ones and buy something sturdier.

I can't say enough good things about these corn holders. They come clean in the dishwasher and have not shown any scratches from it, or the corn stickers or general use. They look like new half way through a summer full of corn :) They are much lighter than my previous ceramic holders, but not so light they push around like the plastic ones do. They don't heat up too quickly so you can carry the corn to table in them if desired. Very happy with this purchase!

Durable, easy to clean, and sturdy. My only complaint is that they don't stack all that well. They will stack, but more than two will make it a bit risky

I prefer glass to plastic because it looks better and holds the heat longer. These holders work as promised as long as your corn forks are not too fat. For instance the Oxo good grips corn forks are too big around and because of this the corn doesn’t actually make contact with the butter in the bottom of the holder, and that is a very sad thing indeed! Ideally the holders should have deeper side grooves to work with all forks, not just skinny ones. These holders look much better than most and work well with thin forks. I recommend them.

It’s taken me a lifetime to find these types of holders. Used to have them as kids 70 odd years ago. They were the only way to really load up on salt and butter and enjoy fresh hot corn-on-the-cob. I really missed these style of dishware until a last second idea turned my to Amazon. And the best part is they’re glass not one shot paper or cardboard, they should last a while.

I’ve had a set of these for years. They are perfect to serve corn in. We put butter in the bottom and roll the corn around and it butters it perfectly. There is even a little notch at each end for corn cob holders.

We purchased these as a gift for our married children. They really liked them as a they have a substantial feel to them. Cobs nestle nicely in them to be buttered.
