This moss climbing toy is very flexible. I think there is a wire in the center of it, that allows you to bend it into any shape you want and hold its shape. You could make it straight, round, or even with enough patience you could make it into a corkscrew shape.* Is flexible and bendable.* Is covered in a moss-like material.* Full stretched out it is about 2 feet long.

This sheds all over, but I gave the low rating because it's super sharp with little thorns sticking out if it. My hermit crabs have not touched it.

I was underwhelmed when this came. It was packed tight and folded up quite small. Looks can be deceiving. When opened up and spread across the tank the hermit crabs were drawn to it immediately. They have claimed it as their favorite. They are happy. And I am happy. Don't discount it right away on appearance.

I recently got hermit crabs and thought this might be good to add to their tank. It came like vacuumed sealed and bent multiple times. It was actually quite hard to open and I had to use scissors. Gonna be honest here- it just looks like a big fat log of….well, you know. It doesn’t look as fluffy and mossy as in the picture. You’d have to pick at it and fluff it up to get it to look like that. I’m not really sure if I like it or if I will use it in my hermit tank.
