it basically has everything you need. quality is really good. this was well put together package, meaning you have everything for not just candle making but for making cosmetics products too where you need to melt certain items in oils. quality seems great and everything is staineless steel. i highly recommend this seller. thanks.

I am a first time candle maker. I'm still learning about which products to use. I bought this double boiler set because of the reviews. I have a few things that I didn't like. I felt the heating plate should have a better way to secure the pot on the heating plate it seems to slide off center after stirring the wax. The pot itself is small. The other issue I have with this set is the thermometer did not work out of the box. It seemed of cheap quality. The digital screen glitched off and on and I could not even use it. Besides those few issues and overall, it did do the job of melting the wax.

This pot is great for making small batches of candles that are about 9 oz. It works well and the heat gun that comes with it is a must! I am new to candle making so still testing all different temps, etc. I do think it is a great value for the money.
