I purchased this not for de-tuning but for cleaning up some surface rust on a board that was recently professionally sharpened and waxed. I live in a coastal area and rust is a constant battle. Due my proximity to the ocean, rust will find its way to take a foothold no matter where or how I store my property. It was really important to me to be able to restore my board without risking permanent damage. I used mostly the red compound as it is the softest but I did get into the blue compound for some areas that required a little more removal. I would buy this product again to ensure I have a straight gummy as I pretty much wore out the red gummy cleaning up my snowboard. I was able to board for two days straight without any further adjustments after using the gummy on my rails, I did not have to get my board re-sharpened or waxed. Thanks for providing what appears to be a high quality product at a reasonable price.

I saw the use of gummy stones while watching ‘how to tune your snowboard videos. While they are not necessary because you can use files I feel like the stones or more forgiving especially for first time tuners. They’ve worked well getting the rust & burrs out.

Not the best gummy stones. Compared to the one that came in my demon tune kit they do not work anywhere near as well. I thought being 3 different grits that they would work wonders but I was mistaken
