I used this when building shelves and it was heavy and temperamental, shooting when it wanted to, which wasn't often. I have other Greenworks tools and really like them, but this one hit the mark for me. I returned it.

Great tool and I have about 40 Greenworks products this is hard to get in the same area as my pneumatic unit and it is sort of heavy to use for a long period of time, However it does seem to have the fantastic Greenworks power as my other tools.

Greenworks has done it again. This nailer just works. Period. The batteries hold a charge well, and charge quickly. The nailer functions just as you would expect.

This nail gun works perfect for what we needed. We had a lot of trim work we needed to put back. This nail gun worked perfectly. I would recommend it.

So I work in renovation and regularly have to use a few kinds of nail guns. I've tried all kinds from Rigid, to Milwaukee to Makita and so on, and the cost of this gun is comparable to them. While I'd hoped this would be a gem, it turned out to be disappointing. It's problem is that it's under powered. It'll work ok for things like base board, trim, crown etc. So your standard thin 1by material but it won't go through anything denser. Basically hardyboard's out, any hard woods are out, composite deck boards out and the like. It barely has enough kick to push through the thin stuff and even then I'm having to hammer flush half the nails. Another issue is the power saving feature. It essentially shuts off 'till you pull the trigger so it doesn't drink dry the battery, but that doesn't mean it turns back on and fires. No, it needs a couple seconds to "wake up" and then it'll start working like it should. That is, until you let it rest for 10 seconds then it shuts right back off. To the layman, that's hardly a complaint, to someone that does this everyday, that's tripping at the starting pistol, 20 times a day. It sucks because everything else about it was fine. It feels good in the hands. It stands straight up when you set it down. The belt hook is good. It's not overly heavy. But still, that's all superficial when what I needed was the goods it couldn't give to me.

Years ago I bought my first greenworks product and as I’m many people have realized buying one brand of battery tools can mean you are captive to that battery ecosystem. This Brad nailer is so far living up to my needs and expectations. It is easy to adjust the depth of nail strikes. It is pretty weighty with a battery but certainly a tool that serves its purpose.
