I put this in my greenhouse and it is an app on my phone so I can see the temperature inside the greenhouse whenever I like. It shows the humidity also. The reading is quite accurate and it's very functional. The Bluetooth connection is good the only thing is it's pretty slow to read the temperature. I don't know about the battery life yet because it's still working and I've had it for 6 months.

This device is awesome. Easy to set up unlike many WIFI products. I have a furnace that was giving me intermittent problems. This device gave me peace of mind when I was away from home. Contrary to another review, this device doesn't have to have the app open to receive alarms remotely as long as it's connected to the home WIFI and internet. I did some testing to verify.

This has allowed me to map how the heat functions in my room. I have a radiator that is powered by by a very old boiler in my room and the graph in the app has helped me see that the temp fluctuates as much as 10 degrees. The graph also allows me to see if the heat is in a heating cycle or a cooling cycle and helps me predict if I need to take measures to cool my room down before I go to bed at night. Overall, I feel like I have a much better feel for how the heating system functions due to the graphs in the app. It was also easy to set up.

I will state that my uses for a hygrometer and thermometer are likely different from what most would use this for, so my usage may not be an accurate reflection of average use, so use that information however it helps. That being said, I use this for my cigars to monitor the RH and temp of my sticks. I will say that it's fairly accurate and gives me the flexibility of knowing that even when i'm not home, I can make sure my cigars aren't at risk of going bad. I only wish that this had a rechargeable battery, but that's honestly not a huge ding to this little gizmo. it works well enough for my uses and I already use other Govee products so I had the app installed already. If they ever go on sale, i'll be sure to grab a few more!

I bought this device to monitor a property that is currently vacant. It is two miles from my home. The house does have WiFi, which is used to connect this device to the internet.I set it with a minimum and maximum temperature for an alert. If it hits those numbers, I receive an Alert.In central Ohio, this winter it is imperative that I know what the temperature is in the house. It truly has given me a peace of mind. I don’t need to run over every day to be sure the house temperature is okay and to be sure the furnace is working.I check the App daily to be sure everything is okay.Highly recommended!!

I am using 6 of these in our house and another dozen at our office. The simplicity of setup and ability to work anywhere there is WiFi is just fantastic. The API interface has been wonderful for allowing us to collect data and send notifications based on our own needs. Some basic programming is required for setting up the API access. My only real complaint is that the Phone App does not show the MAC Address. All the documentation says it should show this, but it does not as of 02/20/2025. Very frustrating for setting up RADIUS access.

bought this to monitor my home temp in Wisconsin while I vacationed in Florida. on my second day of vacation, it quit working. a lot of good that did me.sent it back
