Very very thin! The color and piping trim is cute. The zipper works ok. The terry is so unbelievably thin I have my daughter dry off with a regular towel before putting this on which defeats the purpose. It is so thin it barely absorbs any water.

EXTREMELY thin! Because it's so thin it's hardly absorbent because it just immediately soaks up any water and then is left wet. The description on amazon says 5% polyester and 95% cotton but the actual tag on the garment says 20% polyester and 80% cotton. Definitely feels like a very very thin towel, not plush or fluffy at all. I wouldn't even use this as a lounge robe because it's not cozy or fluffy. I will only put it on my daughter after she's completely dry and at that point it's a little pointless because by then she's getting dressed. I also wish it had a belt to tie rather than a zip. The tag reads to dry clean only - yeah right! I washed it in the regular wash just once and it's already pulling and puckering around the zipper. I could see how possibly this would be handy after the pool on the way to the car. Fits true to size. I regret this purchase!
