I bought this to go in a 2.5 gallon tank. Way too big. Would be nicer for a larger aquarium.

Keeps the fish food from swirling around in the tank

Didn't think it would work but it does work, and it keeps the water clean. The suction cup could be better, I had to play with it to get it to stay in place but once on it will not come off. The fish now knows where to get the food from, and he can be found in that area during feeding time, crazy how even fish get on a schedule.

I would recommend sizing up to the square if your tank is any bigger than 8 gallons. Pictured, this is a 10 gallon standard, with nano Endler's Livebearers (they're about half the size of a standard guppy).Works great and does well otherwise. The only minor issue I have is that the arm isn't really smooth in action, so it might not stay level in the water. My fix is that you ditch the arm and use a piece of sewing thread to tie on the suction cup and then the ring, where the arm originally was. This will ensure the ring always stays level.

This feeding ring works great when attached to the side of the tank. I like that the suction cup can be removed and it will float freely around your tank as well. The square design makes it seem so much bigger than the circular product.

This is a nice feeding circle so the filter doesn't immediately yank the food down. The betta likes it. However, the suction cup is very weak and always falls off.

I ended op getting the large square one by accident and while it is a good idea, I do wish you could change the length from the suction cup on the glass side
