I never knew they made such a thing, but i bought this to help take nails out of reclaimed lumber, so far it works great.

Needed a way to disconnect nails from the particle board secondary subfloor layer that they were holding in place. Figured a nail pusher might be able to push a nail deep enough through the particle board so that I could pull up each panel in full sheets. This works pretty well for that.Minus a star because there is a sloppy trigger safety swivel that sometimes engages while switching hands. Probably will need to glue it in place to eliminate the nuisance (at the cost of having a trigger safety).

I’ve ordered two of these. The first was great. So I got another two weeks later. Came broken. The pin will just fall while you’re working. Making it hard to get a good hit on the nail. First one popped out a week later and now does the same thing. If you have a couple days of work. I’d buy this. If you want something quality. Don’t buy this.
