At first, I was a bit hesitant, but after seeing all those five-star reviews and recommendations from tile pros, I just had to give it a shot. And boy, am I glad I did!The aluminum alloy construction, though thin, is sturdy enough to ensure it won't rust. Installation was a breeze, even though my slightly uneven walls made alignment a bit tricky. But with a little patience and some elbow grease, it's as solid as can be.Filling it with mortar was also a piece of cake. Once filled and leveled, tiling it was a snap. Now, I've got a sleek, space-saving bench in my shower that's perfect for a quick rest or propping up legs for shaving. And if you're a DIY enthusiast like me, you'll love how it hardly adds any extra time to your project. My only gripe? I wish there were more instructions for retrofitting, but hey, I made it work and couldn’t be happier with the result. So if you're in the market for a hassle-free shower bench that's as sturdy as they come, give this one a try. Trust me, you won't be disappointed!

have used several of these are they are easy to install and finish, it is my advice that you install this onto the wall prior to tile. It is easier to cut tile around this then to drill holes thru the tile to mount this.

Used in a tile shower for client and worked perfectly.

This is very good quality and is exactly what I wanted. I really like that it has 4 mounting points on each side compared to the 3 points on the one I was originally looking at. I suppose you could easily drill more holes for more screws but it's nice not to have to think about it.Once I get to mounting this I'll have some pictures to add. Otherwise, very happy with the quality!

You don’t need to be a contractor to install this, but it helps to know a little bit about tiling. Starters the instructions recommend deck mud (same mix used for shower pans). I taped off all the holes till the end then removed them after the deck mud was firmly packed inside. Then I filled the front with a slightly wetter deck mud after removing the tape. This left a course outer layer which I skim-coated with grey gris. The finish outside was also coated with redguard as well as the Hardie backer behind it.I also did not used the included hardware and instead used Hardie backer screws and siliconed each screw hole. (I’m really cautious)

It’s an interesting design, but the installation turned out to be too much for me. The way they want you to coat and pack the seat seemed like too much work. I could just build a seat out of wood and shower membrane or a backer board system. I like the idea of going stainless but not being someone who’s adept at working with those materials just not for me.

They install quickly, cleanly and well. Really happy with them. Well constructed, beautiful, sturdy and simple. Respected. Can be used to place bath supplies, the effect is very good.
