I use an Orvis sling bag when fly fishing. It has a foam patch to place flies. The flies fall off easily. I bought the magnetic patch to replace the foam. I tested the magnetic patch and it has worked well. So far, no loss of flies. It attaches easily to the sling bag. I would recommend the magnetic patch.
